⅖". Body slender, hairy, dark with lighter markson sides. Legs long, banded light and dark. Active hunter by day; runs prey down. Female drags egg sac, carries hatched and broods on back.
Habitat: Coniferous forrests; under logs and stones.
Season: June-Aug.
